High pressure seamless steel cylinders require statutory retesting at periodic intervals. As a designer and manufacturer of this type of cylinder Chesterfield Special Cylinders are in a unique position to offer additional recommendations and services over and above the minimum requirements to maximise the performance and life of the cylinder.
Using our manufacturing facilities we are capable of reconditioning, rectification and finishing (shot blasting and painting) cylinders to "as new" condition.
TopCorrosive and high purity special gases require exceptional levels of internal cleanliness of cylinder. We offer an internal cleaning/polishing and electro-less nickel plating service to prevent attacking of the steel substrate or accelerated degradation of the gas quality.
